I mean the show was all right the first 2 seasons but then it just started sucking. I mean Fantashia won? what kind of bull crap is that? She sounds like a constipated Macy Grey! Also that dude with the red hair in the third season was the best singer that show has seen and they always said he sucked, just showing how america can't vote on real talent. I mean would you want your fatte decided by America?

Most of the people that sing on there are way above average like the ones there are now, yet people agree with simon and talk about how they werent that good. Id like to hear them try and sing it. I used to like the beginning episodes, when you could count on half of everyone that got up sucking hard-core and being torn apart infront of 50 million people. After that, who cares.... its not like the music's any good.

I typically buy the albums of the people that I see on American Idol that I like... not necessarily the people that win.

For example, even though Bo Bice didn't win, he came out with an album, and he is really talented. I'll probably get his album one of these days.

For this season, if Chris Daughtry doesn't win, he will probably come out with an album anyway, and I'll probably be more likely to buy his album than any of the other contestants.

Yes! I'm so glad that I'm not the only person that hates that show. Why would you watch a show about people singing? If you really liked music that much, why wouldn't you just watch a music video of someone with talent?

I personally think the show is ridiculous and I really think that it's a "fixed" thing. I believe that they know ahead of time who's going to get it and this and that. I think that it is all acted out and dramatic.

I again the show is stupid! It reminds me of "Showtime at the Apollo" just a 21st century upgrade. I dont know what's wrong with producers, after season 2 you need to perpare for your last season because it gets boring. I wasnt a fan of American Idol in the first place.
