oh wow. That's hard to tell without looking at the picture.

Abyssinian cats have softer bone structures, and they do come in a blueish grey color... but their hair is shorter.

Domestic Short-hairs have slightly longer hair than Abyssinians, and also come in blue grey colors.

There's also a short haired breed called a british blue They are a bit thicker boned which gives them the appearance of more medium hair- and they have orange eyes.

Really- I'd need a picture. There are many breeds that fit that description.

Perhaps go on Google and type in Blue Grey cats and see if you find a picture that's similar to that cat.

You will find pictures of blue, red, chocolate, silver, bluesilver and fawn colored Abbys.

British Shorthaired - they have slightly longer hair than short hairs, bright yellow eyes, and unusual ones have blue-grey fur.

There is also a "Blue" siberian with yellow eyes.
