Do hair colouring cause split ends and Greying. What's meant by highlighting - is it colouring only on strands or just giving a shining to the hair tips by avoiding the scalp. kindly let me know what is meant by Streaking - is it applying different colour on the strands. Do colouring lead to hair fall. Pls do answer ...........

Coloring only leads to problems if you do it too much. Trust me, it took me forever for my hair to fall out from dyeing and Im not even sure it's because I dyed my hair so much...it's not so bad. Highlighting means coloring thin streaks of hair, and streaking means slightly thicker strands of hair.

sad to say yeah it does give you split ends and cause early greyness but i still do it

greying - this is caused by loss of the colour pigment in the hair...NOT caused by colouring as this is a natural process (unfortunately!)

Highlights/streaking - same thing. Highlights are where you fine sections of hair and make them lighter (or darker = lowlights). you can full head (literally taking sections of hair from all over the head), Half head (doing top half section of hair) and t/bar (very top section of hair, sides and lil bit @ the back).

colouring doenst lead to hair "falling out" as such but over use of bleach and generally over processing hair (too much colouring, bleach being left too long on hair, using hair straighteners, hairdryer) can cause hair to break off. to prevent this - regular trims and deep condtioning treatments

Chemicals r harsh for the hair no matter wat brand.... After som time u wil notice that u dont have any hair to colour...

normally hair colouring doesnt cause split ends only drying of hair causes it........ and highlighting means differentiating other hair strands wid some diff colour than ur natural colour....... streaking is a pattern where u wil colour only some parts of hair...commonly people do streaking which looks like zebra(not black n white) but wid colours......... yes colouring leads to hair fall but u can prevent it by using special shampoos for coloured hair.....
