The girl is very sarcastic and likes to believe in only things that she finds are REAL. She wasn't a fairy tale kind of girl, but she's not rough either. She has very long, pale blond hair, stormy grey eyes, and very pale skin. She pretty and petite, but with an out of this world personality. She's VERY curious and very clever. You really can't get much past her. She's an only child to her wedding planner mother and her stock broker dad. She decide to spend the summer at her grandparents house where she has never been aloud to go to before, and is curious to see what's the deal with it. She's seventeen, never been in love.

As for a last name, it has to be strong. My second baby's middle name is going to be Reed. A reed is something that sways in the wind, but is very sturdy... it plants itself well into the ground. I dunno.. you need something like that for her. Something that signifies her strength.

Try Faye for a first name. I'm an author and use it for my most important secondary character who's about ready to join the top echelons with my primary officers. (I write military fiction.) I chose that name after Faye Valentine from Cowboy Bebop, my favorite anime series.

I really liked some of the suggestions I gave to you before: Sophie, Elodea, and Melinda. Sophie is the name of the main character in a fantasy I'm reading right now (Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynn Jones, if you want to know), and Elodea (water plant, remember?) and Melinda seem like names for a fantasy book, anyway.
