I dont wear makeup but i want to start?

im 13/14 and high school is coming up and i want to wear some makeup everyday but not alot, my skin is rather clear so i dont need cover up or anything. i dont have any experience, but i do have mascara and some eyeliner that i sometimes experiment with at home. i havent worn makeup to school yet, except chap stick.

i have blue/grey eyes, lightly tanned skin, a teeny bit of freckles, light brown hair. im looking for something to make my eyes look larger, and for my lips i want something not too bold but noticeable. im not planning on wearing blush. my eyelashes arent very long, but not extremely short. i really like the creamy, shimmery eyeshadows (any brands to recommend?), but i also just like the loose powder that i can sweep over my eyes before school. i am only looking for an everyday look.

the best answer will need have:

any brands they recommend

what colours look best on my eyes

best lip colour for me

how to apply the eyemakeup

a less than 15 minute makeup routine

I dont wear makeup but i want to start?

wow, you're features are very similar to mine, so this should be pretty easy for me...

blue eyes are beautiful so youre going to want eyeshadow colors to make you're eyes pop. purples and pinks look good with blue, but make sure when picking colors you don't get anything too bright. and shades of brown look good with any eye color, so i suggest getting some of those. i'd also suggest a white shimmery one. if you use very little of the white it won't show up much, just give your eyes a little umph. apply the very lightly from your lashline to your eyebrow. apply the color from your lashline to your browbone, lightly or more heavily depending on the look you want.

since your skin is only lightly tanned, i would suggest brown eyeliner. it will look more natural than black. and use pencil, not liquid. not only is liquid harder to apply, but it is also hard to make it look natural. smude it into your upper lashline to make your lashes look thicker and fuller. apply some on the bottom to make you're eyes look bigger and to make you look more awake. [the awake thing sounds kinda funny, but it does make you look like you're less tired]

brands for eyeshadow that i would reccomend are...

karma

covergirl

claire's

revlon

wet n wild

for mascara, i use greatlash. its inexpensive and works great!

but be careful with the claires eyeshadow they crumble easily and be careful choosing colors, they are bright sometimes.

for your lips, pale colors are in right now. if you find that pale colors aren't for you, try something a little darker, but not to dark! pink always works, but stay away from red, it will make you look like you're trying to look like you're older than you really are.

for lipgloss, the brands i would recommend are...

bonnebell

lip smackers

claire's

and here's the 15 minutes makeup routine!!

step 1.) smude eyeliner into upper lashline. start between middle and inside corner of the eye, and go to the outside corner. apply to bottom only halfway, the half closer to the outside corner of you're eye. this will make youre lashes look thicker and you're eyes bigger. you will blink a lot at first but will later get used to it.

step 2.) use an eyeshadow brush to sweep shimmery white eyeshadow across entire eyelid up to eyebrow. this brightens your eyes. be careful to apply only a little bit!

step 3.) apply a colored eyeshadow across your eyelid up to either the crease or the browbone, depending on the look you want. apply lightly or more heavily, depending on the look you want.

step 4.) apply mascara only to the top lashes. don't use too much or you will get clumps.

step 5.) apply lip gloss with a brush or with a wand.

if you are confused about my instructions, ask your mom for help! =]]

hope this helps!

Go to a make-up artist at the Bay and ask for advice.

I dont wear makeup but i want to start?

When I started wearing makeup on a daily basis, I went to a department store at the mall and went to the Clinique counter. They will do free makeovers, show you your best colors, and how to apply everything. They're my favorite brand of makeup...it might be a little pricey for your age though. Make sure your parents are ok with you wearing makeup to school.

I dont wear makeup but i want to start?

eyeliner + mascara is all u need

thats all i wear

Hey there, may I suggest you stay away from foundation and concealer, since you have nothing to hide!

Buy some light pressed powders, should you ever have a shiny nose or forehead during the summer season.

Good brands: Cover Girl Clean Pressed Powder, L'oreal TruMatch, MAC, Estee Lauder, NARS, Tarte, Lancome all have good ones.

If you are looking for something that will make your eyes larger, use a lash curler. Good ones: Cover Girl, Revlon, Sally Hansen, MAC. If you have the money, I would recommend getting the best, by Shu Uemura.

For your eyes, you can wear mascara. Good ones:

Maybelline Great Lash

Cover Girl Lash Exact or Volume Exact

L'oreal Panoramic, Lash Out, Voluminous, Double Extend, Telescopic are all good.

Clinique High Impact

Lancome Definicils, Extencils or Hypnose.

Dior Diorshow

Get one in black, to make your eyes stand out.

If you like creamy, shimmery shadows, you can find nice ones by these brands:

MAC (they come in tubes)

Maybelline Dream Mousse

Cargo

Urban Decay has the best selection;

so does MAC.

To apply the shadows, I recommend dusting your eyes with a bit of pressed powder first, because the oil glands on your lids will eventually make the shadow disappear over time.

Don't wear blush, if you feel your skin does not need it.

As for lip gloss and lipsticks, here are some awesome brands that you can have fun and experiment with:

anything by Bonne Bell

Cover Girl TruShine

Maybelline Moisture Extreme

MAC (any of their lip products)

anything by Makeup For Ever

NARS Orgasm lip gloss is really nice

Cargo

Clinique

Lancome Juicy Tubes

First, wash your face.

Put on your moisteriser.

While that sinks in, do your hair.

Afterwards, curl your lashes, dust the lids with powder, and apply the cream shadow with your finger. Don't swipe too hard.

Apply mascara, wiggling from root to tips. Don't pump the wand in the tube, as it will cause the mascara to dry out faster.

Dust pressed powder on any oily spots you may have.

Apply lip gloss.

Spray some perfume on, and you're out the door!

Perfumes I think you may like:

CK IN2U

anything by Escada, MAC, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, and Paris Hilton. They actually have very nice scents!

Gucci Envy2

anything by Comptoir Sud du Pacifique (you get at Sephora.)

For makeup trends and ideas on how to apply them, and what products to use, I recommend Seventeen magazine and Allure.

For books, there's Making Faces by Kevyn Aucoin;

Bobbi Brown Teenage Beauty

Laura Mercier put a book out too

NYLON Pretty.

Have fun!

=)

for eyeshadow, use urban decay. They sell these shadow boxes with a bunch of really good colors. to make eyes look bigger, use an angle brush and apply a dark color that doesnt match exatly with your eyes and apply it along the lash line. I would go for a dark brown. as you continue up the eyelid, use lighter tones of shadow. Two faced and benefit have really good mascaras. make a surprised face when applying mascara, it makes it easier and you get to the base of your lashes. if you want to use some eyeliner, put it on after the eyeshadow but before mascara. For lips try a pale pink or peach, something suttle.

look up a bare essentials/ bare minerals store near your house. You don't need to pay for a makeover there and the products are AMAZING!!!! all you need is to have your parent with you. They don't even need to sign anything. All of the products are made from crushed minerals and they have soooooo many different colors to choose from. Good luck

I dont wear makeup but i want to start?

i am sure you already know this, but there r some good sites attached!! = )

well, since i have blue eyes too here is what i do:

1) i start with a white shimmer and apply from lash line to brow bone.

2) than i do a light brown shade and go from the lash line to the crease line

3) i take a darkish brown and go on the out half of the upper lash line to the outer corner and then half way in a very thin line, half way across the bottom lash line

I dont wear makeup but i want to start?

Just a simple make-up like uh . . . eye liner, lip gloss or thin lipstick,

mascara. Me, I usually go to school or just on our house with eye liner in my eyes cause i'm a rocker.
