Is it true?

i heard that dying your hair incourages your hair to go grey.

Is it true?

I don't think so; I've been coloring my hair for 6 years and only have minimal graying.

Is it true?

I doubt that this is true. for sure dying your hair is not good for your hair, but I am pretty sure hair going grey is linked to some sort of biological process often related to ageing. Maybe it 'fades' your natural hair colour though...

Is it true?

Never heard that in my life - and I have hair stylists in my family.

Usually, when people start to go grey - they may decide to color their hair. And of course, over time - their hair will become more and more grey- as is the natural progression for them. Not every goes grey, some people retain their natural color well into their 70's that I have seen.

But this idea might have come from the fact - that if you dye your greying hair on a regular basis - constantly covering up the roots - over time / years - you may not realize how much of your hair is turning or has turned grey - until you decide to let your roots grow out or don't have a chance to dye your hair -and then you see how grey you really have become !! It can be scary !

Is it true?

Basically, dying the hairs do not cause any problems.I think the hairs go grey if dying is not done with a good quality colour.Dying with inferior quality colour can make them turn grey. You should be having no problems with good quality colours.

Is it true?

no is not true that my hair is dying.....while my hair is not to go grey.

Is it true?

I don't think so. But what I know is if you tie your hair while its wet after a year not all but some will turn to grey or it could even turn to white.
