Want to go from dark brunette to Avril Lavigne blonde?

I have dark brown hair, pale skin, naturally rosey cheeks and olivey green eyes which sometimes look grey or blue. When wearing makeup, my naturally rosey cheeks are at a minimum. But rosey cheeks don't suit being blonde, right? Is it okay if it's minimal (like blush) under a light foundation powder? They're usually not too rosey. I have dark brown hair that shines golden in the light, I'm worried about damaging it because I always get compliments on how nice my hair is.

I have straight hair that is below my shoulders, I want to dye it quite light blonde with a coloured chunk (pink? black?) on the right side, I also have a side fringe that sweeps to the right.

Would this look okay? Any pics of what it could look like?

Otherwise, what about dying it darker brown so it's not quite black but a warm brown with a red (or other coloured) chunk on the right side?

If you want to go as blonde as hers i suggest you go to a very good salon that knows what they are doing. Because if you try to bleach it yourself it will come out yellow or orange.

But you could probably get your hair a pretty dark golden brown or a medium brown but it is pretty hard to go from dark brown to blonde.

uh rosey cheeks look best with blondes. If you bleach it YOU WILL DAMAGE IT NO MATTER WHO DOES IT. Honestly they have go put chemicals on it to strip the color out of it....it cant be good. Sure it may look good and feel good but it wont be healthy in the long run. PLus going from dark to blonde is a big color differance. I did that and it was awful. I want my pretty shiny brown hair back. Now I have to spend money every few months for the ppl at the salon to dye ir brunette because when it fades a little you see this ugly greenish blonde under it. DONT DO IT...you will regret it. PLEASE DONT. Get blonde highlights if you want blonde.
